Wipika! We are proud to announce that the new Wipika Website is now launched.

This new site features Wipika's all-star Global Team and full-line of cutting edge kites and boards. Complete with up-to-date news, team rider photos, and catalog requests the new site is styling. Check out www.wipikakiteboarding.comfor the full scoop.

We are also very proud to announce the 2003 Wipika US National Team; Denver Coon, Chip Wasson, Kristy Moller, Maui Owens, Llew Simmons, Jeremy Fry, and Gregg Gnecco. These strong riders represent the core of our sport and have been blowing it up on the beach and in the media for the past two years. Look for the US team to be representing in the Waddell Creek and Velocity Games in the coming weeks.

Besides this exciting news lots of other great things are happening. We are heavily under work with the Global Team Riders in creating the new 04 graphics, ads, and actually the website too. 03 is booming and 04 looks to be even better.

Additionally, we'd like to introduce Laurel Eastman (Wipika Global Team Rider) as the North Sea Open Kiteboarding Champ! After what appears to be a good day of wind, and a few good days of partying, Laurel came out victorious. This is a great start to her 03 competition schedule and we are sure there is more to come. Way to go Laurel!

Laurel will be in France for the KPWT event from May 12-18th.

From what I hear Seb, Lou and the crew didn't enjoy great luck with the wind at the Mondial du Vent event. And now Seb is on his way to surgery. Flash and Alvaro were both at the Austria event, kicking off a big season for the PKRA.

Chuck Patterson, while attempting double kite loops "fell out of the sky" and hurt his heel. He is up and walking now, but will not be competing in the Waddell event. He will however, be judging the Waddell event and hosting the tv commentating, along with Renee and Laurel, for the Velocity Games in Texas.

Teiva is off gallanting around Europe, and has been sending photos which show he's having fun.
